French phone operators: which one?
In France, we have four main operators: Bouygues Télécom, Orange, Free and SFR. The competition is fierce, so you can find even cheaper deals: Sosh, RED…etc.
France is one of the countries in Europe with the cheapest phone plan deals. Most of the deals are between 15 euros and 40 euros for a month.
Most of the phone operators will only accept a French bank account to get your mobile phone.
Some mobile networks require a 12-month or a 24-month commitment. Be careful with the terms and conditions when you choose your phone contract. If you stay in France for less than a year, it’s better to choose a package without commitment (“sans engagement”).
👉 You can also have a look to this operator: Lebara. Their website is in English.
