What is the CROUS ?

CROUS is a public institution under the authority of the government. It main goal is to improve student's living and working conditions daily life and work of students in France by offering a range of services. 

Depending on the services, CROUS assists both French and international students.

Fields of actions

1. Places to eat (restaurants, brasseries, cafeterias, Crous Truck, etc.)

2. Accommodation in university residences. Please note that only French students can apply for accommodation through CROUS. If you are an international student, please contact us

3. Financial aid for all students (grants based on social criteria, specific aid, etc.)

I'm facing difficulties and I need guidance

If you are facing difficulties in your daily life (financial difficulties, health issues, difficulties accessing rights) you could book an appointement with a social worker from the Social Department of the CROUS.
