Language Classes : specific details for PGE 2 - 2nd year entrance only

Information for PGE 2 students - 2nd year entrance only

What language class will I take?

In the first semester, according to the curriculum for your course, you will follow either English classes or 2nd language / French classes.

NB - Students joining school from outside of France, will all have French classes in the second semester.

FLUENT FRENCH SPEAKERS

either English classes

or a class in your 2nd foreign language 

NON-FLUENT FRENCH SPEAKERS

either English classes

or French classes (see below)

Students who - in their Admissions File - did not show that they have the minimum required level to reach the Graduation Requirement for English* will follow English classes.

Students who - in their Admissions File - showed that they already have the minimum required level to reach the Graduation Requirement for English will follow 2nd language / French classes.

* it is not because you have shown the required level in your Admissions File, that the Graduation Requirement has been fulfilled according to the specific rules of your programme.  See here: Graduation Requirements (BiM, PGE and Master programmes) – Aloha Student Support)

French CLASSES - level test

Students who are due to take French classes, will need to take an internal test to know their level of French - to ensure they are placed in the correct group.
