GRADUATION REQUIREMENT
As an International Business School, it is essential that students who graduate from Rennes SB can prove that they have a minimum B2 level in English.
To prove this, all students following the BiM, PGE or Master programmes, must take an External Language Test for English (TOEIC / TOEFL iBT / IELTS) and must achieve a minimum score to be able to graduate.
INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY
Certain Partner Universities also require students to prove their level in English via specific External Language Tests in English (TOEIC / TOEFL iBT / IELTS / other ...).
Details of the specific requirements for each Partner Universty can be obtained via the International Mobility Department communications.
TRAINING
How can I train for my External Language Test for English?
In class: during the Way Up! English classes (in 1st and 2nd years of BiM / PGE), you train for "Certificates". You are given help, advice and practice exercises to prepare you for the tests.
Via Global Exam: in your first year at school (BiM1, PGE1 or AST2), Rennes SB provides you with a licence to the Global Exam platform. Your licence will be activated at the start of the "Certificates" Pod in English class (but not before).
The licence is available for one year (only).
Via this platform, in your own time, you can practice vocabulary & grammar and can train for the tests.
The licence is available to you whilst you are following English classes.
After this time, if you need to further practice your English, it becomes your personal responsiblity to do so, using your own means.
Via the Learning Centre: the Rennes SB learning centre also provides additional material to help you train for External Language Tests in English.
