External Language Test - Training

How can I train for my External Language test?

In class: 

During the Way Up! English classes (in 1st and 2nd years of BiM / PGE), you train for "Certificates".  

You are given help, advice and practice exercises to prepare you for the tests.

Via Global Exam: 

During your first year at school (BiM1, PGE1 or AST2), Rennes SB provides you with a licence for the Global Exam platform.

Your licence will be activated at the start of the “Certificates” Pod in your English class (but not before).

The licence is available for one year only.

Via this platform, you can practise vocabulary and grammar in your own time and train for the external language tests.

This free licence is available to you while you are following English classes.

In your gap year or final year at school (BiM3, PGE3, Master2), you can enrol for a "Personal License" to the Global Exam platform.

You will have access to training material for the three tests (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS).

This license will cost 50 Euros (which is a significantly discounted rate compared to the public rate).

If you would like to try out the platform before registering for an individual session, you can also have access to the Global Exam platform (for a limited time only) in the Language & Culture room (see below). 

In the Language & Culture Room (B1):

On line (via Global Exam Platform) or paper based 'mock' TOEIC tests

• Paper based ‘mock’ tests => this is good training to specifically prepare for a pencil & paper based TOEIC test

   

• Online via Global Exam => this gives you access to the “vocabulary & revision sheets” and exercises on the platform.  You can use the site (for a limited time only), on a generic account.
