What is OneDrive?
OneDrive is an online based storage app from Office365. It is your personal space, the equivalent of your desktop on your computer.
If you have a problem with your computer one day, simply log into your office account on any device and you will have access to all the files you have synchronised. With OneDrive, you will never lose your work files.
Set up Onedrive?
Open a web page and type www.office.com in the top search bar > click on Sign in > enter your Rennes SB email address and password.
Once you are logged in, you arrive on your Office365 online dashboard. That is where you can find every application from the Office package.
Click on the OneDrive app to open it.
On the webapp OneDrive, click on Upload (on screenshot: Charger) and select the files you want to sync.
Then, click on Sync (on screenshot: Synchroniser)
From now on, the modifications you bring to any document that is inside an uploaded file will automatically be saved online. You do not need to click on "Sync" again, it is automatic with an internet connexion. No matter if you work on a file on the webapp or on you desktop, it will be synced to the other.
ACCESS MY STORED FILES
- Online, on the webapp, via office.com (after login in with your RSB account)
- Or, on your computer’s file explorer
