We remind you that, in case of rescheduling an exam (due to weather conditions, bomb alert, strike, technical issues, etc.), you must be available throughout the examination period as indicated in the general calendar.
Before the Exam:
- Ensure that all your exams are listed in your RISE calendar;
- Read the instructions listed in the syllabi of each module as indicated in your WebRise. On the day of the exam, only the instructions written on the paper will apply;
- Arrive at the exam room 15 minutes before the start of each exam;
- No student will be allowed to take the exam if they arrive more than 1 hour after the distribution of the exam paper;
- Present your student ID card to the invigilator(s) upon entering the room and keep it visible on your table. The digital student card is also accepted, provided you show a valid ID.
- RSB calculators will be provided on your exam table on the day of the test. However, we recommend that you bring your own calculator in case the professor allows its use.
Any student who does not present their student ID card will be denied entry to the exam room. Student identity verification will be done at the exam office (Building 1 - Office 147), which will issue an access authorization to the exam rooms for the day.
Once in the Exam Room:
- Talking during the exam is strictly prohibited.
- In case of inappropriate behavior (exchanges with a third party, insults, impoliteness, etc.), invigilators are authorized to exclude a student from the exam room. Any violation will be recorded in an official statement and transmitted to the administration, which may result in disciplinary action.
- No exchanges of any kind between students are allowed (sharing of materials, etc.).
- Bags, eyeglass cases, mobile phones (turned off), etc., must be deposited (before you take your seat) in the area indicated by the invigilator. Watches and smartwatches must be placed on your table during the exam.
- Writing before the official start of the exam is strictly prohibited. The invigilator will indicate when you can begin.
- Earplugs and noise canceling headphones are permitted.
During the Exam:
- Ensure that the exam paper has the correct number of pages.
- Remember to write your student number on all exam copies.
- You are not allowed to leave the exam room before the end of the first hour.
- Only the provided rough paper and exam copies are allowed (white double-sided copies and dividers to be returned to the invigilators). All these documents will be collected by the invigilator at the end of the exam.
- Write only in blue or black ink (not in pencil).
- Unilingual dictionaries (English) are available in the rooms (please ask the invigilators).
- If you need anything, please inform the invigilator by raising your hand.
After the exam:
- After submitting your answer sheet to the invigilators, remember to sign the attendance sheet before leaving the exam room (no documents will be accepted after signing).
- Don’t forget to return to the invigilators all the documents used during the exam (question paper, rough paper, dividers).
For the smooth conduct of the exam session and in the interest of all, we would like to remind you to adopt a respectful and responsible behavior towards the invigilators, school staff, and your fellow students
We ask you to answer on the white exam paper, as the colored papers are only drafts and will not be submitted to the teacher for grading.
One last information! Don't throw away your student card at the end of your exams! Keep it, you will need it for next year! This way
