Add your phone number to your authentication methods

After you configure your account with the Microsoft Authenticator app, you have the possibility to add a secondary method of authentication. It can be especially useful when you change your phone, but keep the same phone number/sim card.

Here's how to do:

1) Go to Office.com

(sign in to your account if it is not automatic)

2) On top-right of the main page, click on your profile picture or initials, and on "View account":

3) On the next page, in "Security Info", click on "Update Info":

4) Click on "Add sign-in method" and choose "Phone" in the list:

5) Select the country of your phone number, and enter the number.

Then, press "Next", and enter the code you receive by text on your phone.

Your phone number will then be added to the methods you can use to verify your account.
