Consent is a key part of building healthy, respectful, and equal relationships. It’s not just about romantic or sexual interactions — it’s about how we treat each other in everyday life. Practicing consent helps create a campus culture based on mutual trust, safety, and dignity.

🧠 What is consent?
Consent means a clear, voluntary, and enthusiastic agreement between all people involved in an interaction. It must be:
- Freely given: no pressure, no manipulation
- Enthusiastic: everyone is genuinely willing
- Clear: a definite “yes,” not silence or hesitation
- Reversible: anyone can change their mind at any time
- Informed: everyone knows what they’re agreeing to

💬 How to practice consent
- Communicate openly: talk about boundaries and expectations
- Check in regularly: a simple “Are you still okay with this?” matters
- Respect boundaries: stop immediately if someone says no or seems uncomfortable
- Pay attention to non-verbal cues: body language and facial expressions matter
- Educate yourself and others: awareness helps build a culture of respect
