Some facts and figures:
In France, between 1.5 and 2 million people report not being able to afford to buy sanitary protection regularly.
The Federation of General Student Associations (FAGE) shows that 30% of students say they need financial help to afford these products.
- 37% of 20-29 year-olds have already had to go without period protection at least once (29% of 15-19 year-olds).
- 60% of respondents say they have missed school or work due to medical reasons related to their period.
(Survey conducted in February 2021 by the FAGE)
Our actions:
In order to fight against period poverty and promote gender equality and inclusion, the Feel Good and RSE teams are implementing 12 sanitary product distributors, in partnership with Marguerite & Co, in the toilets of all school buildings to give you access to sanitary products when you need them. This action is co-financed by the Brittany Region
