As an MSc student, Rennes School of Business offers you an opportunity for a two-week academic getaway! You have the chance to participate in the Winter Session. But what is it exactly?
The Winter Session is an optional fortnight-class abroad in one of our European partner universities. It gives you a chance to discover another European country, another institution, and to share life experiences. This event is optional therefore, to go or not to go, it is up to you!
NB: The Winter Session is not part of the INSOFE & Coruña students' programme.
TO GO OR NOT TO GO?
Winter Session dates
The Winter Session will be scheduled from Monday 9th to Friday 20th January 2023.
The course will be taught by one professor from Rennes SB and one professor from the welcoming institution (1 week each).
The Winter Session course is optional. Therefore, there will be no final exam, and you will receive a certificate of participation at the end, according to your attendance and your participation to the class.
Two group leaders are to be nominated for each destination as contact people during the 2 weeks.
Once you have confirmed your participation in the Winter Session, cancellation is no longer possible (except if you find an internship, in that case, you will have to provide your internship contract as proof). If you cancel, you will be charged accommodation fees (400€/person).
Accommodation is booked and paid by Rennes SB for all participating students from Sunday 8th January to Saturday 21st January (hotel, hostel, or residence), breakfast included but you will have to pay for your own meals (lunch, dinner & extras). Make sure you can afford it!
The budget has to be taken into consideration! Transportation is to be booked and paid for by the students (to go to the Partner University and to get around in the city during your stay).
