On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, Rennes School of Business offers you a week of awareness raising for feminist causes! As the week progresses, we’ll share facts and figures, articles, examples, and other information relevant to women. The week will conclude with a virtual round table.
We want to thank the BNEM association, HeForShe, the FeelGood team, our Alumuni, and Rennes School of Business staff and faculty for contributing to this week.
An overview of the week
Monday: Facts and figures
Where does gender equality stand in France and abroad? What is the hidden impact of gender inequality? Has the pandemic reinforced this? While some try to minimize gender inequality, we’ll try to address head-on some of the key issues.
Tuesday: What are we doing at RSB?
How does commitment to gender equality play out at Rennes School of business? The BNEM (National Association of Management Students) and the FeelGood team will help us answer that question!
Wednesday: Support for women
The Covid-19 crisis has resulted in a steep rise in domestic violence worldwide. Discover the women’s groups and awareness campaigns which are addressing this problem.
Thursday: Help us find a new name for the “rue des entrepreneurs” (Entrepreneurs’ Street) in B1
We want to rename our palm tree atrium in the main building for an outstanding woman who has used her creativity and audacity to make a significant impact for environmental and/or social causes. If you want to nominate a candidate like this, who exemplifies “unframed thinking,” fill in the questionnaire on the link below. And why not a school alumnus? We will also post on this day some profiles of outstanding women. Nominate your candidate here.
Friday: Our alumni’s got talent!
The WIN club – Women’s International Network – will present a virtual round table with four of our alumni who have created their own eco-friendly companies. It will be recorded in French and sub-titled later in English. If you wish to sign up for the live round table in French, register using this link.
