French state-guaranteed loan

The student loan is open to all students without any means test and without parental or third party guarantee. With the possibility of repaying the loan in a deferred manner with a maximum amount granted of 20 000 Euros, the scheme currently concerns the Société Générale, Crédit Mutuel, C.I.C., Banques Populaires and Caisses d'Epargne.

Conditions required:

• be under 28 years of age,
• enrolled in an institution preparing for a competitive examination or a French higher education diploma and
• of French nationality or from one of the member states of the EU or the E.E.E. and
• justify regular uninterrupted residence in France for at least 5 years at the time of the conclusion of the loan.
